3 Hound Sausages sells handmade crafts dedicated to the dachshund and dog community in Melbourne Australia, running since 2014. 3 Hound Sausages are devoted to giving you the very best of handmade craft products with a focus on using locally sourced materials, creating unique one-off pieces and providing a quality product that you and your furry friend will treasure for a long time to come.
Challenge
3 Hound Sausages decided to step up its game and sourced RG Designs to redesign their brand identity, create an ecommerce website to expand their digital presence to increase brand awareness, customer growth and sales.
Solution
RG Designs developed a website that was simple, visually pleasing for every demographic and allows users to experience a seamless shopping experience.
Ideation
I started my ideation by sketching multiple ideas on what the home page would look like to gain the users attention to explore further.
The design incorporates the director business objectives to bring a simple, enjoyable experience and persuade the user to purchase these bespoke products.
Design System
As I established a new brand Identity for 3 Hound Sausages. The colours, fonts and illustrations helped to start module the design system for the new website. With the new branding in place, the process in creating the UI components helped immensely in deciding what shape of buttons with what colours and overall look and feel to go forward.
